I played in the Grand Prix in Minneapolis this weekend.  Didnt do so hot but then again I was playing against the top level of players. If you dont know anything about the game all there is to be said is I went 2-3 and dropped after the 5th round (out of 9 and the 3rd loss) because you can only lose 2 matches to make it to 2nd round.

I played Delver Spirits.  The matches went a little like this

Round 1 vs Vensor Control

Game 1  - I see 3 ratchet bombs disrupting my early game and get vensor locked with spine of ish naw. results pretty clearlying in a lose

Game 2 - Plays 2 Frost titans which I lock down with a dungeon geist and phantasmal Image copying a frost titan he plays vensor blinks a titan to kill my image and taps down my geist.  Game ends in a lose

Round 2 Vs R/B/W Reanimator

Game 1 - Griselbrand hits the board on a reanimator I have no answer and lose the game

Game 2 - 2 Captians and answers for Griselbrand 4 times leads to me swinging in through the air to win pretty quickly, I win.

Game 3 -  We both keep sketchy hands opponent gets stuck on 3 lands I dont find a white source to play most of my hand with I eventually Draw a white source before she draws an unburial rites.  I win again

Round 3 vs U/W Delver

Game 1 - play a captain and lingering souls and win the game quickly

Game 2 - My Ratchet bomb kills an invisible stalker and pike and dungeon geist locks down a delver game spirals out of control for my opponent he eventually finds a sword of war and peace but I vapor snag the guy he attaches it to and swing in for the win

Round 4 vs Mono Black janky control

Game 1 - Spot removals all of my creatures and plays old sorin puts my life total at 10.  next turn he plays sorins vengeance and I lose the game

Game 2 - Pretty much same thing as game 1 but he doesnt get the sorins vengeance and just kills me with old sorin.

Round 5 vs Solar Flare

Game 1 - Initially a close game eventually gets his combo online and I have no response for it losing the game

Game 2 - same as game 1.
